Could Djimon Hounsou Be Working On The Tintin Movie Trilogy

I have a very sketchy rumour that Djimon Hounsou maybe linked to the Tintin movie trilogy it is merely speculation on my part. I am reading a lot between the lines from an interview he has given. Djimon Hounsou doing press for the movie 'Never Back Down' in his interview he talked about how he would soon be starting his dream project. And what is that dream project? A comic book trilogy is what the actor was heard to say. 

This could relate to another project being the Fantastic Four where he would be ideal to play Black Panther in the third film.

The reason why Black Panther seems like the most logical choice is because Tim Story, who directed the two Fantastic Four movies, has mentioned Hounsou as his favourite choice forFantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer had hit theatres, Story told them that the Black Panther was one of the characters he was interested in bringing into the series. Story said I've got to tell you, to get the Fantastic Four and turn it into a franchise, the first thing I thought was, 'Will I get the Silver Surfer'? Or someone like Black Panther, who was introduced in their book, get Djimon Hounsou and go do it?' But there are so many other great villains and stories – I feel like I hit the jackpot."

Djimon Hounsou though would have knowledge of Tintin after having moved to France when he as thirteen.

Djimon Hounsou could also play Kratos from “God of War” .

It has been well known that the PlayStation 2 hit “God of War” was being made into a movie. Now designer David Jaffe has stated that the movie script is done. He also said that he would prefer Djimon Hounsou, who was worked in Amistad and Blood Diamonds, to play Kratos.

David Jaffe said in an interview to Entertainment Weekly, “I keep expecting them to call me and say it’s dead, but my fingers are crossed. We’ll be sending the script out to a huge-name director… Djimon Hounsou as Kratos. Absolutely. You have to get past the fact that Kratos is Greek, but in terms of the way he looks and his acting ability and his physique, I can’t think of a better choice.”

The script of the God of War movie has been written by David Self who has worked on Thirteen Days and Road to Perdition. The sequel to the game, God of War 2 for the PS2 is expected to release this month while a PSP version of the game is also in the works. The movie has a good script writer; lets hope the director would be a good one too and the movie doesn’t end up like the Lara Croft movies. (This is not a new  story first appearing in October 2007)

It is just a rumour but it would be interesting to hear what others have to say about it and which character could he play?
