Jackson Is To Direct Second Tintin Movie

I have just read an interview with Andy Serkis where he was promoting his his new movie The Cottage but went on to discuss briefly the upcoming Tintin movies. Andy Serkis said that the majority of filming start in September but that things got adjusted due to the writers' strike.

Andy Serkis confirmed in this interview that Steven Spielberg was to direct the first Tinitn movie and then Peter Jackson the second. As for the third movie in the Tintin trilogy it as been speculated for a while that the third movie may be directed by an different director. This however cannot be confirmed as yet.
