		<description>I think the success of the Tintin franchise was not the characters, or the art, but Herge&#039;s writing.  Any presentation of Tintin will fail if not true to the pacing and cleverness of the stories, and has the best chance of success if the books themselves are used as storyboards. Herge himself has already done most of the director&#039;s work. 
 
That said, I suspect a high-tech super slick animated / real life Tintin will be charmless. </description>
